A Site with a Legacy: From Pérovna Hostivař to the Next Chapter of a Historic Industrial Location
1 month ago
The site now home to Logicor Prague–Průmyslová was once occupied by a key manufacturing facility with deep roots in Prague’s industrial landscape—Pérovna Hostivař. For decades, this company played an integral role in the economy of Prague 10, specializing in the production and supply of metal components for the automotive and railway industries.
Industrial Heritage in Hostivař
Founded in the 1930s, Pérovna Hostivař built a reputation for high-precision metal components and specialized springs. The factory operated under state ownership during the socialist era and was subsequently privatized in the early 1990s. Despite changing ownership and market dynamics, the site remained a center of technical excellence, supplying components to customers across Europe.
A New Era on Historic Ground
Following the end of production in 2015, the site became home to more than 20 tenants. In 2022, Logicor acquired this strategic brownfield location to redevelop it into a modern logistics hub. Fittingly, the new project—Logicor Prague–Průmyslová—is situated on K Pérovně Street, a name that continues to echo the site's industrial past. We are proud to carry forward this legacy, now reimagined to meet the demands of contemporary urban logistics with a focus on modern services, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
