17 FEBRUARY 2025: Logicor, a leading owner, developer, and manager of logistics real estate in Europe, has started the construction of a new logistics park in the heart of Prague’s industrial zone – Logicor Prague-Prumyslova.

The new site will offer 21,000 sqm of warehouse and office space close to major motorways (D0, D1, D5, D8, D11) and Prague’s city centre.

The first stage of construction is underway, including demolition and earthworks plus the installation of support pillars. Construction work is expected to be completed and operational by the end of 2025.

Pavel Rufert, Director of Logicor Czech Republic:

“The excellent location of Logicor Prague-Prumyslova makes it an ideal location from which distribution customers can operate. Its proximity to the urban population of, Prague (only 5 minutes from city center) means that consumer demand for goods and services can be met efficiently and sustainably by using more environmentally friendly methods of transport, like small vans, e-bikes or scooters."

Alžběta Pastrnková, Asset Manager of Logicor Czech Republic, further states:

“Logicor Prague-Prumyslova represents another step in Logicor’s strategy to grow in key markets and to provide our customers with modern and sustainable logistics space.

Developed to high sustainability standards, the project is targeting BREEAM certification Very Good and will include photovoltaic panels on the roof and LED lighting and EV charging points. With smart metering, the occupier can monitor their consumption of energy to ensure they are acting sustainably and economically. With a focus on wellness, the office area will be equipped with glass facades that maximise natural light and parking spaces will be with charging stations for electric vehicles. To promote biodiversity the landscaping is planned with native species of trees and shrubs. To increase security and CO2 emmision the park entrance will be equipped with Automatic Access Gate with number plate reader.

The park is part of an industrial zone and is located in a close proximity to the southern Prague Ring Road, which connects the key strategic motorways from the D1 to the D11 motorways. Thanks to its convenient location on these transport routes, it offers direct access to all parts of the Czech Republic as well as within the Prague itself, along with access to a potential workforce.  It is served by the railway and bus public transport network and a bike path runs nearby the park.
